The bug has reached UK shores after thousands fell sick across the US

Dozens of people fell ill with gastrointestinal illness on a cruise ship, marking the vessel's fourth outbreak in less than two months.

More than 1.5 million eggs linked to the outbreak have been recalled so far, yet there may be other potential sources, health officials say.

The eggs were only distributed in a handful of states, while the salmonella cases have been reported in more than a dozen.
