Glamorous TV host weeps as she’s sentenced to death by hanging for involvement in drug trafficking gang

A popular Egyptian TV presenter has been sentenced to death by hanging -- along with 11 others -- after she was convicted as a member of a massive drug trafficking ring.

Sara Khalifa, 39, was convicted along with 11 other members of the criminal organization after authorities uncovered drug laboratories hidden in two apartments in Egypt’s capital.
