Cubs Sign 8-Year MLB Veteran Catcher

The Chicago Cubs have added to their depth, as they have signed veteran catcher Austin Wynns in a low-risk move.

The Chicago Cubs are preparing for the final stretch of the regular season. It never hurts to have a plethora of catching depth. The NL Central club added a veteran backstop to the roster on Tuesday. According to Jason Kempf, the Cubs have signed Austin Wynns to a minor league contract. He will report to Triple-A Iowa.
