Couple arrested after 'getting drunk and punching boy, 9, on cruise ship'

A couple were arrested as their cruise ship docked after allegedly boozing, forcing their way into a family’s cabin and punching a nine-year-old boy during a chaotic brawl

The sheriff blamed the incident on alcohol and poor judgment, writing that it was "for sure the alcohol combined with an apparent lack of common sense" that led to the confrontation.

Police have now charged two people in connection with the incident with multiple offences each, and warned guests to behave responsibly onboard
