Drunk couple arrested on cruise ship after punching a 9-year-old child: police

A couple from Ohio allegedly got drunk during a cruise and forced their way into a family's cabin where they assaulted a family and ended up punching a 9-year-old boy. Gannon Jacox, 29, and his girlfriend Brooklyn Hicks, 28 were arrested on Saturday at Port Canaveral by Brevard County Sheriff's deputies, according to the New York Post. Jacox and Hicks were allegedly "arguing loudly after taking advantage of some adult beverages” when one of the victims asked them to be quiet, according to Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey. The couple allegedly became irate when they were asked to keep it quiet. Ivey said they "pushed their way into the victim's room" and that Jacox began fighting with two adults and their 9-year-old child. Ivey said Jacox swung on everyone in the room, including the minor.
