All we know about A66 crash that killed seven as police officers and young men who died after pursuit are named

The police watchdog the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) confirmed it has launched an investigation into the fatal crash

It is understood the police vehicle Pc Blades and Pc Clough were travelling in was not part of the pursuit.

Michael Cahill, Theo Rae, Cole Worthy, Jacob Matusiak and Makai Saddington died when their car crashed into a marked police vehicle on the A66 near Middlesbrough.

The names of the five people who sadly died in the Volkswagen Passat involved in the A66 crash have been confirmed, with the youngest being 17
