Zimbabwe: Zimbabwe Sets Up Task Force to Tackle Illegal Mining After Bindura Damage

[New Zimbabwe] CABINET has approved the establishment of a national Task Force to combat illegal mining as the government moves to address the damage caused by unregulated mining activities across the country.

The work takes place at the National Institute of Criminalistics in Brasilia, the country’s capital, where federal police have set up a “gold lab” that collects and analyses samples from across the country.
