Zelenskyy rejects call for elections, says it would 'destroy' Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday rejected calls for wartime elections, saying the move would divide and "destroy the country."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says holding elections as active fighting with Russia continues would "split Ukraine." His warning comes after ousted former Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov last week called for a wartime vote.
