Yemen's Houthis say they attacked Saudi Aramco refinery in Jazan

Yemen's Houthis said they attacked an Aramco refinery in Saudi Arabia's Jazan with two drones on Thursday, according to the Saba news agency.

The strikes could impact the kingdom’s efforts to maintain shipping volumes amid ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.

The strike follows a deadly Houthi attack on a ship in the Red Sea as the renewed conflict take its toll on shipping.

The agency reported that the source said the strike was a response to a Saudi "violation of Yemeni airspace and the country's sovereignty in the Saada and Hajjah governorates".
