The WNBA's newest team is officially the Cleveland Sirens, a name with ties to Greek mythology and Lake Erie.

The Cleveland Sirens will begin play in 2028. Franchises coming to Detroit (2029) and Philadelphia (2030) have yet to announce names or branding.
