Plans for a new electric vehicle bus depot in Kitts Green, east Birmingham, have moved a step closer after Birmingham City Council agreed to sell the land to Transport for West Midlands. The proposed depot would support a fleet of 110 electric buses, bringing greener and more frequent services to the region.

The 6x1 work schedule is advancing in the Brazilian Senate, with a committee review underway. The amendment would cut the workweek to 40 hours and guarantee two rest days.
