West Africa: Ecowas Pledges U.S.$250,000 for June 29 Flood Victims

[Ghanaian Times] THE Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has pledged US$250,000, equivalent to about GH¢3 million, to support victims of the June 29 floods that ravaged parts of Ghana.

BOSTenergies has donated GH₵1 million to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) to support life-saving medical treatment for Ghanaians suffering from chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

The Economic Community of West African States is giving Ghana a helping hand in the wake of the country's recent devastating floods. ECOWAS is donating $250,000, which is intended to help victims.
