Around 150 people have been evacuated after a fire broke out at a 13-storey hotel in Wembley on Friday (14 July).Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters rushed to the Holiday Inn in Empire Way just after 12.30pm as London’s emergency services operate under severe pressure during the city’s fifth heatwave this year.

A MASSIVE inferno has broken out at a hotel, believed to be housing migrants, just yards away from Wembley Stadium. The London Fire Brigade received the first of 29 calls reporting the blaze at the alleged migrant hotel at around 12.30 this afternoon. Crews rushed to the Holiday Inn, on Empire Way, Wembley and managed.
