THE academic who sparked the pile on which preceded a black British professor’s suicide has said he is under investigation by his university.

Jason Arday died aged 41 after intense media coverage followed Cambridge University’s investigation into plagiarism allegations.

Some journalists defended their coverage, saying it was “legitimate journalistic inquiry”.
