For the third time this month a suspicious drone was discovered at the Leipzig-Halle Airport in Germany along with a suspected military explosive.

Leipzig/Halle airport in eastern Germany plays a key role in the transport of military goods, including by the German military and NATO allies, and also serves as a base for Ukraine's Antonov Airlines.

The drone was found on August 14, 10 days after the incident, to the west of the airport, where investigators also discovered about 50 grams of a substance they suspected to be a military explosive.

An explosives-laden drone was discovered earlier near a Ukrainian Antonov cargo aircraft used for military supplies.
