CENTCOM Adm. Brad Cooper said the Lincoln's leadership has prioritized mental health as the carrier nears the end of its extended deployment.

Adm Brad Cooper acknowledged that navy service at sea for long periods is "uniquely challenging and tough", following a visit to the warship.

Cooper's visit and statement come after reports of widespread morale and mental health concerns aboard the Lincoln.
