Negotiators stayed in Washington over the weekend to keep talking, but a deal covering nearly $20 billion in Canadian goods remains elusive

The Canadian government continues to hold trade negotiations with the U.S. as the Trump administration plans to begin a fresh wave of tariffs. NBC News' Brian Cheung reports on what exports are targeted in the tariffs and what economic impact it could have.

Trade negotiations are coming down to the wire. Just two days remain until U.S. President Donald Trump’s new wave of tariffs hit Canadian exports.

The tariffs are scheduled to kick in Wednesday on such Canadian products as hockey sticks, wine, and cement.
