Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to name Rustem Umerov, secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Ukrainian news outlets Ukrainska Pravda and RBC-Ukraine reported, citing sources.

Rustem Umerov's appointment is part of a broader security reshuffle announced by the president in July.
