Ukrainian F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes During Combat Mission

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reported losing contact with an F-16 fighter jet during an ongoing combat mission on Wednesday, July 29, after an in-flight emergency forced the pilot to eject. The pilot was evacuated safely, with no civilian casualties reported.
