Ukraine’s former military chief Zaluzhnyi: Ukraine will never join NATO
Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom and former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said he doubts Ukraine will ever join NATO. He made the comment during a discussion on Euro-Atlantic integration at a meeting of ambassadors in Kyiv, the Ukrainian outlet European Pravda reported.

Ukraine’s former commander-in-chief and current ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valery Zaluzhny, told a gathering of top diplomats in Kyiv that Ukraine will never become a NATO member, citing the alliance’s outdated ideologies. He urged Kyiv to instead pursue other security guarantees.
