MOSCOW, Aug 10 - At least 13 people were killed, including a child, and 39 injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on industrial and civilian targets in the city of Nizhnekamsk, authorities said on Monday, one of the heaviest civilian tolls in Russia in months.

Russia's Defense Ministry said it had destroyed more than 150 Ukrainian drones over the European part of the country.

A child was among the dead in Kyiv, while Ukraine struck another oil refinery in Russia.

Attack comes as US Senate passes new Russia sanctions and Kyiv appeals for air defence interceptors.

Three people, including a child, were killed and three others injured in Kyiv region as Russia launched an overnight drone attack. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv and Dnipro, while falling debris damaged homes, vehicles and other buildings in the Brovary district.
