ALDI has been crowned Britain's cheapest supermarket for the latest monthly shopping basket study, beating rival discounter Lidl to the top spot once again. Consumer champion Which? compared the price of 93 popular grocery items across eight major supermarkets and found Aldi came out on top with a total bill of just £1
