UAE Warns Of 'Potential Missile Threats', Asks People To Seek Shelter

The UAE missile threat comes a day after the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States, aimed at ending the fighting in the Middle East, expired.

The United Arab Emirates issued a brief phone alert for “potential missile threats” on Tuesday with the ministry of defence confirming it had detected missiles “directed towards the country” for the first time in months.

Tuesday's alert was the first in months after a false alarm in June and a July alert for an attack that ultimately did not enter UAE territory. Before that, the last missile warning came in early May.
