U.S. deporting thousands of Mexican migrants to other Central American countries

The United States has deported nearly 2,300 Mexicans to Guatemala this year and sent at least dozens more to Honduras, according to official data, a shift from the beginning of U.S. President Donald Trump's second term, when such transfers were minimal.

The United States deported twenty non-Liberian nationals to Liberia. This marks a significant expansion of the US third-country deportation program. Liberia agreed to accept up to twelve hundred individuals under this humanitarian arrangement. The agreement allows deportees to seek asylum within Liberia if they wish. T

President Donald Trump's deputies sent more than 2,000 Mexican migrants back to their home country by flying and bussing them 2,000 miles to Mexico's far-southern border.
