Two injured in stabbing attack at Canada Sikh temple

A man has been arrested after injuring two people in an early morning stabbing attack at a Sikh temple in Edmonton, Canada, police said.

A man entered the Nanaksar gurdwara just off Manning Drive in northeast Edmonton and attacked members during morning prayers that were happening ahead of a wedding on Friday.

One suspect is in custody, but police have not disclosed a possible motive.

The World Sikh Organization of Canada said a “violent incident” at the Nanaksar Gurdwara temple in northeast Edmonton Friday morning left two people injured.
