A drone hit a busy beach in southern Russia, killing seven people including three children, local authorities have said.

The drone attack on Russia’s Black Sea holiday resort injured 40 people, with the regional governor accusing Ukraine of a “deliberate attack on civilians”.

Three children were killed when the drone crashed at a popular resort on the Black Sea.

Russian planes have dropped powerful glide bombs on Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, killing one person and wounding dozens. Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone debris killed six people in Arkhipo-Osipovka in Russia.

Beachgoers were startled after the Ukrainian unmanned aircraft crashed to the ground in Arkhipo-Osipovka, a resort on the Black Sea.
