Tumbler Ridge shooting survivors among 30 new plaintiffs suing OpenAI

Thirty new plaintiffs have joined legal action tied to the Tumbler Ridge mass shooting, expanding the case against OpenAI and Sam Altman to 37 claims.

New legal filings describe the horror students and teachers experienced on Feb. 10 and include new details of OpenAI's alleged negligence in preventing the shooting.

The suits say that recommendations to alert police about the alleged shooter were nixed by the OpenAI's global affairs team, led by veteran political strategist Chris Lehane. OpenAI denies the claims.
