President Donald Trump Friday signed an executive order to create a U.S. Space Academy to train and educate aerospace workers and service members.

The president said graduates of the new academy would serve the US Space Force, NASA and the civilian flight industry.

"Space is the hot thing," President Trump said at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston.
