Trump flew secretly from Turkey due to Iranian threat, the Washington Post reports

WASHINGTON, Aug 10 - Prompted by an Iranian threat, U.S. President Donald Trump took a secret military flight from Turkey last month when the White House said he was aboard Air Force One, the Washington Post reported Monday.

An Iranian assassination threat against President Donald Trump prompted an extraordinary operation last month in which he flew secretly on an alternate military aircraft.

President Trump hid in an airport catering cart and was taken to a military jet for a secret flight out of country after the NATO summit last month.
