Trump defends plane switch in Turkey as lawmakers demand more answers

President Trump defended his secret plane swap in Turkey after a credible Iran threat against Air Force One. Meanwhile, lawmakers are demanding more answers about it since administration officials and journalists remained on the threatened plane. CBS News' Aaron Navarro has more.

Trump took close aides with him but appeared to leave top Cabinet officials in the older Air Force One

"I guess there was a threat out there. I didn't really ask too much about it. I get a lot of threats," Trump told reporters.

A credible threat to Trump involving Iran set the "deception operation" in motion, a US official familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.

The plan to protect the president involved a catering truck and a secondary military plane to transfer him safely.
