Trump approval drops as majority of Americans fear prolonged Iran conflict - poll

After returning to the White House last year with just under half the country approving of his presidency, Trump's popularity this year took a hit after he ordered strikes on Iran.

One-third of Americans approve of President Trump’s job performance, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos survey. The poll, conducted from Friday through Monday, found that 33 percent of 1,166 respondents approved of the job Trump is doing, while 64 percent disapproved. The poll had a margin of error of 3 percentage points
