Trade vessel struck by projectile in Strait of Hormuz amid US-Iran talks

A trade vessel reported being struck by an unknown projectile near Oman's coast as Trump claims a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is imminent.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Center said a ship reported being struck by an “unknown projectile” in the waterway.

The United Kingdom Maritime and Trade Operations (UKMTO) center said in a post on X/Twitter that a cargo vessel had been hit by an unknown projectile off the coast of Oman.
