Toyota NZ recalls 176 Camry vehicles over display failure risk

Toyota New Zealand is recalling 176 Camrys over an instrument display fault.

Toyota is recalling 655,000 Camrys worldwide, including 508,354 in the US, over a display defect that can deactivate turn signals and hazard lights.

The automaker says the problem happens randomly and that a free software update will correct the issue.
