‘Totally stunned’: Struggling N.S. libraries react to ‘Heated Rivalry’ author’s $300K donation

One of Nova Scotia’s most famous authors has stepped in to help out several of the province’s struggling libraries.

Rachel Reid, a Nova Scotia resident, said libraries are an essential service and with some slated for closure felt she needed to help keep them open.
