Tommy Davidson mines challenges of late-night TV for 'Varnell Hill' laughs

Tommy Davidson says "The Varnell Hill Show" was born of his long-time friendships with Martin Lawrence and Christopher Reid from Kid 'n Play.

Martin Lawrence executive produces and guest stars on the comedy, which sees Davidson reprising the role of the late-night talk show host more than three decades since he was first introduced.
