President Bola Tinubu has filed a challenge in a US court to prevent the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI and DEA from releasing records linked to allegations of drug trafficking.

The party said the FBI findings should not remain entirely hidden simply because some portions may be sensitive, arguing that information that does not endanger lives or compromise investigative methods can still be made public.

The vessel, which was in international waters near Ecuador, was allegedly used as a floating refueling station for drug boats belonging to the Los Choneros organization.
