A drone hit a busy beach in southern Russia, killing seven people including three children, local authorities have said.

Three children were killed when the drone crashed at a popular resort on the Black Sea.

Four people were killed and 10 wounded when a drone fell on a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, about 14 miles from the estate known as “Putin’s Palace.” A Ukrainian Telegram channel claimed the drone was intercepted roughly 300 meters short of a facility linked to a Russian missile producer.

The Transportation Ministry and the military have set up a joint task force to reroute freight and protect commercial ships.
