United States President Donald Trump warned Iran of a forceful military response. American bases in Jordan faced missile attacks which the US intercepted. Iran's Revolutionary Guard claimed responsibility for the attempted surprise strike. US and Saudi forces also conducted overnight strikes against Iran-backed militia
