Thailand to 'stay neutral' in US-China AI race

Thailand would maintain its neutral position between the United States and China and resist pressure to choose sides in the global race for artificial intelligence (AI), Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Monday.

AI is becoming a national security weapon as the US faces China in a new AI arms race, raising fears over cyberwarfare, weapons and AI safety.
