Taylor Farms recalls foods with jalapenos over salmonella risk

It voluntarily recalled products, including salsas and guacamole, from retailers, including Walmart, Kroger and Whole Foods in some states

The farming giant said this includes salsas, guacamole and pimento cheese dips.

The Salinas, California-based food distributor on Sunday announced that it is pulling products from shelves that contain jalapeño peppers, including salsas, guacamoles, burritos, taco dips and shrimp salads.

The announcement comes a few weeks after Taylor Farms voluntarily recalled its iceberg lettuce products sourced from central Mexico because of a potential link to a multistate cyclospora outbreak.
