Swiss police report one dead, five injured in Aarau shooting

The shooting reportedly happened outside a rave in the northern Swiss town of Aarau.

Swiss media reported shots were fired at a rave overnight, with all the victims in their twenties.

Police said a manhunt is under way following the incident at the annual techno party.

Police began a manhunt after the shooting, which happened around 2.30am Swiss time - 1.30am in the UK - at the Aarauer Rave, north of Zurich.

A manhunt was underway early on Sunday, police in Switerland said.

"The search for the perpetrators, whose identities are currently unknown, is under way," Swiss police said.

The fire department cordoned off a large area around the site.
