Supreme Court says judicial review of ethics ruling in Trudeau case can proceed

A watchdog group can pursue a court challenge of a federal ethics report on Justin Trudeau’s involvement in decisions about WE Charity, the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled.

The Supreme Court of Canada has overturned part of the Conflict of Interest Act ruling that decisions made by the commissioner on the conduct of public office holders can be reviewed by a court on questions of fact and law.
