Supreme Court lets Trump continue work on White House ballroom for now

The court's action gives the justices additional time to consider the administration's formal request to let it continue working on the $400 million plan.

The Supreme Court on Friday temporarily allowed President Trump's White House ballroom construction to continue. CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford has the details.

The temporary order came hours before lower-court rulings would have forced a halt to aboveground construction of the project because the US president didn't get congressional approval.
