Stephen A. Smith’s problematic commentary still didn’t warrant Black journalists’ harshest rebuke

Compared with the others the National Association of Black Journalists called out with a “Thumbs-down”award, Smith’s clout is small, and lumping him in with them distracts from a needed conversation about who really holds power in the journalism industry.
