State’s first long-range military radar systems to be in place next year

France was selected months ago as Ireland’s preferred partner to deliver the programme

The Minister for Defence, Helen McEntee TD, has today confirmed the approval of the next phase of the Military Radar Programme.

The Government has approved the latest phase of the Military Radar Programme clearing the way for Ireland to acquire its first long-range military radar systems.

Zelensky said Ukraine updated its list of priority targets for long-range strikes against Russia after more than 1,000 missions this year. He said the campaign aims to weaken Russia’s military production, logistics and economy while pushing Moscow toward diplomacy.
