South Africa returnees form ‘Evacuation Boys’ to support sanitation in Ghana

A group of Ghanaian evacuees from South Africa, calling themselves the “Evacuation Boys,” has pledged to support Ghana’s development by joining efforts to improve sanitation and promote a cleaner country.

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has approved N1 million each to 31 indigenes of the state who recently returned from South Africa.

According to the approval, a comprehensive profiling of each returnee is currently ongoing to assess their individual circumstances and socio-economic realities.
