Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan is repeatedly being tortured in prison in Rawalpindi, his sister has alleged.

It comes as the court had earlier this week ordered that he had to be taken for a hospital examination.

Pakistan’s former prime minister, Imran Khan, has been transferred to a hospital from prison after an order from the country’s top court, according to a statement by his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The court also directed the formation of a medical board to assess his health and ordered that he be kept under tight security at the hospital.
