Scottish students achieve record pass rate on exam results day

Scotland’s Education Secretary, Mairi McAllan, described the outcomes as ‘incredibly positive’

National, Higher and Advanced Higher exam results will arrive for almost 150,000 pupils.

National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher pass rates have all increased in 2026, but historic levels have not yet been fully restored.

Digital exam results were sent out at 8am on Tuesday morning.

[New Zimbabwe] The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has announced the release of the 2026 June Ordinary and Advanced Level examination results, with candidates able to access them online from 6pm Monday.

More than 148,000 people across Scotland will receive their exam results on Tuesday.
