Saskatoon zoo shares new details about grizzly bear’s death

Two days after announcing the death of beloved grizzly bear Koda, the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo says a post-mortem examination found a large tumour pressing on the bear’s upper spine.

Koda was humanely euthanized after 'careful consideration' when staff noticed a decline in his health, zoo officials said in a news release Monday.
