Russians told to ‘stay inside and away from windows’ during Putin visit

Locals in Novosibirsk, Siberia, have also been warned to not use electronic or 'optical' devices while the President's motorcade passes by.

Security restrictions imposed during Putin’s visit to Novosibirsk limited movement along his route and around a university campus. Residents were told to remain indoors and stay away from windows, while scooter rentals and access to parts of the city were restricted.
